FAQs

Is Ingressio compatible with all existing payroll systems on the market?

It is compatible with NOI ®, Nomi PAQ ®, MacroPro ®, Tress ® and SICOSS ®. For other payroll systems, we generate custom interfaces without any problem to platforms such as SAP.

Can I have different types of fingerprint readers connected to one solution?

Yes, depending on the version of Ingressio, you can have access control (stand alone) sensors working together with USB sensors, and in some cases from different brands.

What happens when I bought a license for 30 employees and now I have 50 employees?

Ingressio is scalable; you can increase the number of employees buying the next license plan, no software upgrade is necessary. You just change the license number and that’s it.

How many shifts I have in the system?

You can create and configure as many shifts as you need.

If I want to have many shifts or groups of employees, do I have to buy additional modules?

No, you can do it without help and without additional cost.

Is Ingressio compatible with any database?

Ingressio can work with ODBC compatible databases. Existing versions are available with Microsoft Access, SQL Server or MySQL; however you can ask for upgrades for platforms such as Oracle, DB2, etc.

If I have the information about my employees in a file, do I need to recapture their details when I buy Ingressio?

No, Ingressio has an option to import the information from a Microsoft Excel file, and then you just capture the fingerprint for each employee, so you can save time to start using Ingressio.

Sometimes I can check in/out with my fingerprint, but sometimes it is not possible with KDI Ingressio

- The captured fingerprint is a low quality one
- Maybe the fingerprint was exposed a long time to water before the enrolment or the check-in operation, so the scanner does not allow the correct reading of the fingerprint.

Solution:

- Delete the fingerprint of Ingressio and capture one more time a your fingerprint, of If you still continue having problems, you can try your left hand fingers which may have a better reading. It it still does not work, you may be in the low percentage of the population which has a very fine fingerprint which sometimes can’t be read by the sensors. In this case, you can use the utility for “special fingerprints”. If most of the population on the organization has problems, there is a need for a different sensor that can adapt to this environment (i.e. Construction) such as Ingressio Lumi.

The screen shows me another name after I put my fingerprint on the scanner.
